| Heart of the City Festival Downtown Eastside, Vancouver October 2011 Catherine was invited by the organizers of the Festival to contribute a walk in the neighbourhood. She proposed: My Fascinations With This Place, hosting a group of participants on a walk exploring the congruencies, juxtapositions, problematics and intersections of contemporary life and development in the DTES, with local history including sites, communities, movements, politics, and people. The informed group posed insightful ideas and questions, greatly contributing to our discussion. |
